What they can do

Food

Spotted hyenas are mostly scavengers and often din on left over of other predators  But these beasts also kill snakes, birds , insects, lizards, antelopes , and wildebeest too.  

Where they live

Although they look closer to dogs they  are actually more similar to cats. They live throughout Africa and eastwards from Arabia to India. In large clans they may have up to 80 individuals and are led by females.
