Today is the last day of the term i am going to  tell you every thing in this. in the beginning of the 

term we went to Motat we had load of fun we played a game that we use our mind to make the ball             do to the other side after a few days we went to the zoo it was amazing we saw an rhino we saw a lot

of monkey we saw a lion monkey.We later on we participated in the wonder project  it was 7 week 

long we made a rocket and i was the engineer 1, the term is close to finish we won Sub Way so lucky 

we did a survey and we won subway then after we won a quizz stationery because we did happy birth day to Hamish. and then  1 week ago we had  bike riding lesson for 2 days it was super super

 KIA ORA bloggers around the world my class won Sub Way we are so lucky I mean only my class we       quiz  and they liked our answer so they got us subway they said in the quiz I said what do you want to see in your neighbourhood I wrote a water fountain and I also said I want a flying fox , unfortunately the bell rang for end of lunch the teacher said we can eat after they finish talking. We started to eat I ate it so fast I ate my cookie first i early drank my water I saved he best for last the sandwich .

What they can do

They are adept with One of the longest standing false accusations against the spotted hyena is that they are purely scavengers. Because they steal most of their food from lions. Hyenas kill 66-90% of what they eat and when it comes to the actual hunt they are super  good hunters. Hyenas attack  down their prey at  speeds of 37 mph (60 kph) for a lot of miles. Spotted hyenas can bring down prey many times their size, for an animal the size of a large dog, they have been recorded to kill buffalo and giraffes.

Food

Spotted hyenas are mostly scavengers and often din on left over of other predators  But these beasts also kill snakes, birds , insects, lizards, antelopes , and wildebeest too.  

Where they live

Although they look closer to dogs they  are actually more similar to cats. They live throughout Africa and eastwards from Arabia to India. In large clans they may have up to 80 individuals and are led by females.

1. Did you know that hyenas that are spotted weigh up to 44 to 66 kg, striped  hyenas 22  kg to 55 kg and last but not least come at 40 kg to 44 kg  are the brown  hyena

2. Hyenas and lions often fight over the same territories and hunt the same prey. This leads to big  competition between the two animals. They steal each other’s food and kill off the babies of their enemies.
